As this year will mark 120 years since the birth of Dr. Nishina, we inveited distinguished scientists from Japan and abroad to give lectures to the IPAC'10 participants to highlight the advancement of accelerator science in Japan since Dr. Nishina's time, and to present an overview of its future in a lecture series entitled:
"IPAC'10 Special Lectures to Commemorate the 120th Anniversary of the Birth of Yoshio Nishina: Yoshio Nishina's and Japanese pioneers' developments in particle accelerators and their applications"
